CITI Training
The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) is dedicated to serving the training needs of colleges and universities, healthcare institutions, technology and research organizations, and governmental agencies, as they foster integrity and professional advancement of their learners.
Instructions for CITI Training
1. Go to https://about.citiprogram.org/
• If you do not have an account, click “Register” in the upper right corner to create one.
• If you do have an account, you may log in and select the option to affiliate with another institution.
2. Affiliate with Sabai Global (to take the course at no cost) and complete information to register.
3. Once registered, you will be taken to a “Select Curriculum” screen.
- For clinical trials – select the “Clinical Trial Investigator” option
- For minimal risk research or Human Factors trials, select the “Other Investigator”
**Note: you may elect to take other courses (e.g., Good Clinical Practice – GCP), if needed.
4. On the next screen, select the Sabai Global – View Courses option
5. From this screen, you will be able to start the course. Modules can be taken at your own pace. Click on “Start Now.”
6. Course modules are grouped by “Required” (must complete receive certificate and fulfill human subjects research training requirements) and “Supplemental” (optional) categories.
7. A course completion certificate will be generated when you complete the required modules. Save a copy for your records.
8. Supplemental Modules remain available when you log in to your CITI account and click on the Sabai Global – View Courses option.
